I grew up in a very small town, I remember when the homeless shelter first opened there. I thought to myself, “There are homeless people here?” Of course there were, but I was a child and I had not realized how harsh the world was yet. Now, I live in DFW and i see homeless people all the time, I could never become one of those people that ignores it. This photo though, is very powerful because she looks like a child.
That is so very sad.

I would definitely put a couple of quid in her pot (although she might get annoyed with that so I would have to convert it to dollars first lol)
Normally though, if I see homeless people, I tend to buy them food or drinks as I don’t know what they would use the money for.

Whatever you did or gave her, I’d bet that she would appreciate it.

And to think this goes on every day on the streets of America, only all are not as proud or honest.

It’s sad to see such a young person like her, have nowhere to go, but call the sidewalk her home.
