  1. I lived about 20 blocks away. There were so many helicopters in the air, over my house, that I felt like I was on the set of the movie Apocalypse Now. Worse, I had an interview at the University of Pennsylvania and surprisingly, the buses were running. It was weird that day because people were upset, yet my bus passed a few blocks from the action and it was like “business as usual” for all us people traveling to jobs, picking up children from school, going food shopping. Just another crazy day in Philly, I guess. The sadness and anger would come the next day, though…
