Summer ~ Hal Borland Quote

Summer is a promissory note signed in June, its long days spent and gone before you know it, and due to be repaid next January.

  1. We did not have spring and if we don’t have summer, which truly may be the case, I’m going to move, because if I stay here, I don’t know if I can live in the darkness and never ending rain and snow. It was never like this before.

  2. I love longer days and have enjoyed each day becoming slightly longer than the previous one. All that’s coming to a screeching halt and reversal in under three weeks now and I just hope I don’t get too depressed.
