Human Nature

“One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.”

Encouraging News

The other day, I did a phone visit with the Endocrinologist. He was very happy with the average morning glucose results, which was 117 average for the last 30 days. My weight is  between 136-140, and was glad to hear that to. With that said, I no longer have to see him, and he wished me well. So glad to keep the type 2 diabetes under control.

I guess it depends how one looks at it.

Practice Any Art ….

“Practice any art, music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming, to find out what’s inside you, to make your soul grow.”

Last Night

When I took one of my evening strolls, I saw less than a half dozen people doing the same thing. As for traffic, that has gone down too. I could practically walk down the middle of what some are the busier streets in my city, and this is before sunset. Eerie! The one good thing about the air, it is cleaner, which makes it more enjoyable to walk in.
