      1. I would definitely put a couple of quid in her pot (although she might get annoyed with that so I would have to convert it to dollars first lol)

        Normally though, if I see homeless people, I tend to buy them food or drinks as I don’t know what they would use the money for.

  6. I grew up in a very small town, I remember when the homeless shelter first opened there. I thought to myself, “There are homeless people here?” Of course there were, but I was a child and I had not realized how harsh the world was yet. Now, I live in DFW and i see homeless people all the time, I could never become one of those people that ignores it. This photo though, is very powerful because she looks like a child.

    1. It’s sad to see such a young person like her, have nowhere to go, but call the sidewalk her home.
