The French countryside is beautiful & pittoresque, “envied” for an exceptional quality of life… 🙂 These past 20 years we’ve been “colonized”(LOL!) by Brits, Germans, Dutch, Belgians, Scandinavians who have purchased houses or old farms that they’ve renovated, they have retired and settled here or they spend all their vacation in France. I have lived in the countryside for almost 10 years and I go downtown very rarely, if I’m really “forced” to! 🙂
That is correct, Sir! 🙂 “Old Europe” is a huge village, compared to North America… 🙂
But all white Americans have had their roots and origins over here, you too, I presume… 🙂
