A Pondering Mind

A little of this. A little of that.

Better

I think better than I write.

  2. Hey! You write fine! There is nothing wrong with your writing!

If you think you have a problem writing then I suggest you obtain a small hand-held voice recording device and speak what you are thinking into it and pretend that you are talking to a person sitting across the table from you as you speak.

Then transcribe your voice recording onto your blog editor and make whatever little tweaks you think you need to make and you will discover that you are writing in much the same manner as you talk to a friend and it might seem to be more natural for you.

I do that a lot! Not all the time, mind you, but a lot. It seems to make my writing more free-flowing and keeps it from looking like I have struggled to express myself . . . which, by the way, I often do when I am trying to sound proper or professional.

I know I need to loosen up when I write and the recorder helps me and I am just leaving it as a suggestion in case you might be interested.

But your blog is great and your writing is fine . . . so don’t sweat it!

    1. Thank you for your suggestion. It wasn’t to long ago that I could just sit down. put pen to paper, pass it in to my prof, and bingo, I would up getting B+ or higher. The words would just flow out…
