As of today (12/28), it will be three months of not having to inject insulin of any kind. It feels good knowing that I don’t need it anymore, unless I screw up by having to much sugar in one day. If the high reading doesn’t go down within a day and a half or so, the doc told me to give myself one shot of insulin, and that should bring it down. Also, not taking any pills for type 2 diabetes, and that’s a good thing.
