Don, you have a very funny site! My own favorite Fred Allen quote is the following: “An actor’s popularity is fleeting. His success has the life expectancy of a small boy who is about to look into a gas tank with a lighted match.” I loved this quote so much that I used it in a short story. Cheers, –Jadi
