      1. I love the movie! It’s not as childish as I thought, the idea behind it was more about environmental concerns and very adult. 🙂

cute and nice, I love them… 🙂 It’s called “lundi” in Icelandic and it’s THE most popular bird in their… plates! I was served there once and I did taste it, as I didn’t want to be “rude”: it was a tiny puffin breast with blackberry sauce & mashed potatoes, it tasted like duck liver! Well, I was not very surprised: look at their “palmed duck feet”! 🙂

    1. They look to nice to be killed and eaten. Chicken, well they’re a dime a dozen, and not as good looking as the Puffin…

You’re right, Don and I do agree… it is “cultural”, it’s part of their traditions and customs… Eskimos kill and eat baby seals and whales! 😦

  3. Hard not to like puffins for some reason. I heard they taste rich, like pate, but if you take too much at one go they can taste fishy.
Did you know you can make candles by treading a puffin on a string? I imagine it needs to be dead before you try this.

    1. Poor defenseless birds. Either there killed and eaten, or used to make a candle…
