in the early
of 4:30… its
still dark and
yet the early
no other sounds
its a thing
of beauty listening
and also relaxing
spring has sprung. birds are happy.
Animals and birds, know no borders.
On the other hand, mankind knows where the borders are,
and there lies the problem.
“I always wonder why birds choose to stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth, then I ask myself the same question.”
~ Harun Yahya, Author (B. February 2, 1956)
A bird does not sing because it has an answer. He sings because it has a song. ~Chinese Proverb
Mrs Robin told Mr Robin
to start fetching twigs
and grass. Mr Robin asked
what for? Mrs Robin said
“remember we had hot
and wild sex, which lasted
half the morning!” Well she
said, “you knocked me up!”
“Oh!” he said.
Faith is the bird that sings
when the dawn is still dark.
I spotted this tiny Blue Jay, sitting on the mulch, so I took a few photos, and this one seem to be the best of the lot. Plus, I had to reach through the fence to take the shot(s).
Time of photo: 9:23 AM.
At 9:56 PM, I saw the seagull roaming around the grounds of the building I live in. I wanted to get a photo of the bird, when he was a lot closer, and the lighting was better. But as soon as I was ready to snap, the little shit decides to go wandering off. This was the best I could do, as it went into hiding in the shrubs.
Burn your toast, anyone?
You do have options.
Toss it in the trash.
Scrape it, then eat it.
Give it to the birds.
Or save it, and use it in place of sandpaper,
or an emergency coaster for the coffee and/or end table.
It’s early Saturday evening, and in an hour, the sun will be setting at 8:24 PM. Have the windows open, the baseball game is on the TV, and the best part is, the numerous birds all happy and chipper as they are tweeting away in one massive chorus. Sitting here listening to the birds, they are saying that there is still a lot to like about the earth, that we all call home. With a touch of Zen, life is grand.

Love the blend of colors.
If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it must be a duck.
Eagles are a beautiful bird.
