As far as I know, she didn’t break any laws. It is legal for women to go topless in New York City.

  1. With ugly heat – I’m sometimes tempted to walk outdoors like one of the guys. With my luck – I’d get arrested for indecent exposure.

  2. As a man, I am often bewildered by the double standards of being shirtless or topless. …. Why is that? Even so, in a restaurant. I too thought there were laws, “No shoes, no shirt, no service”? Was not that for public health issues? Maybe she did not get serviced? The beaches of Mediterranean, are full of topless men and women.

    1. That’s a good point concerning, “No shows, no shirt, no service”. I know there are a few states where it’s legal for women to go topless; New York, Maine, and Washington, D.C. Like one women said to me along time ago, I have nipples just like you do, so why can’t bare my breasts outside?

      1. Yup, it has been an ongoing debate since 1960’s. One suspects the view is that these are sexual organs? Weighs heavily against baring them? Having said that, my own approach is not in favour of nudity in particular. Coming down on the side of decorum, as opposed to full-blown nudity for it’s own sake. One has to have a mature approach of “we are born into this world naked”. I’m sure any creator, or supreme being, would have had us clothed if that was what was intended? So, if anyone wants to wander about naked? That’s okay by me. Just do not expect me to do similarly unless there is good reason. I see too many bad bodies on T.V. at sporting events, to want to join in. Nor do I wish to park my butt where another naked one has recently vacated. Not until the hygienic ones are prevalent. The climate locally has only a few weeks a year that this would be of benefit. If you can stand the mosquitoes?

P.S. Thanks for the follow! Yet, I’m quite poor at producing. Finding most of my time is spent commenting on other people’s.
