We are born naked. The mother, the father if he is present in the delivery room. Also the doctor, nurses and whoever else sees us in our bare skin.
A Pondering Mind would like to know why, when we die we are not buried naked? We came into the world naked, why not exit it that way..

It’s like a lot of life. You don’t get to wear brown shoes with a blue suit. >KB

because no one wants to see an lifeless old body naked..it would be terrifying, especially for those who are afraid of death

Hi Don! as far as I’m concerned, I do agree with Oscar Wilde, even though this question has never “bugged” me… secondly, once dead, I do NOT care what’s gonna be or happen afterwards… btw, I’ve chosen cremation! 🙂 Meanwhile, let’s stay healthy, let’s live in the very present and let’s enjoy every moment of it! 😉

Hi Melanie. Cremation is mostly likely my choice too. 🙂

Because in the beginning you don’t have a choice, in the end you do.

The choice can be made before we expire… Just saying…

Naked would be my choice too. That would be quite the exit! 🙂
I’m leaning towards cremation though. But – I’ll be dead – so whatever…

Yeah why not naked? What do cavemen do with their dead loved ones in the past?

This is exactly the point I was making…

I’m not going to care..that’s all that I know. It’s cremation for me too though, and then scattered back into the earth…to be something good for something even at the end. My kids may end up just flushing me down the toilet though…and that’s all okay too. I won’t be caring at that point. 🙂
