The B&W seems to be the best of these two. Nothing exceptional about the landscape but the B&W gives it air of nostalgia

The landscape is nothing more than parking lots. If there was no trees, I wouldn’t have bothered taking the photo(s)…
I think I like the b&w one best because the big tree trunk in the foreground is not there. It brings the focus to the street and trees beyond instead of just on that trunk right there…just me : )
I’ve always been a big fan of b&w. I agree with you on the focus of the b&w versus the color…
