The key word is “causes,” because I believe that if someone was hurting someone a person loved, their kids, etc., they wouldn’t think twice about killing that person.

Nice, succinct.
Causes will evaporate when we let go of judgment and use acceptance.
Then being present is much more enjoyable than dying or killing
