Thirty years ago, while a Locomotive Engineer with CP Rail. We were coming around Kootenay Lake and a Juvenile Golden Eagle flew along side of the Loco cab. Likely watching for small prey scared by the rumble of the train? It flew there for about a minute and a half before breaking off. Golden and Bald eagles are a common sight there. Cheers Jamie
