Two weeks I was admitted to the hospital for rapid heartbeat, lightheadedness, and a glucose reading of 250, which is way too high. I was first taken to the hospital in the city I live in. Spent a little more than 24 hours in the emergency room, and while there, the was beating back to normal, which wasn’t too long after I arrived there. They did draw a lot of blood, and was hooked up with an IV bag, I went through two of them, and then on blood thinners also fed through an IV slow drip. The following night I was transferred to an out-of-town hospital, which has the testing equipment needed to run the ech cardiogram and the stress test. Both of those tests I passed. Now they have me on a medication to regulate my heartbeat, so I shouldn’t have the rapid beating anymore. I will admit it was one fucking scary thing to happen, and I hope it never happens again.
This past Monday I did a follow up with my doctor, and my blood pressure 124 over 72. She liked it, and I will that as a win, any day. I am still doing my walking, and other stuff, and so far, so good.

I take medication for rapid heart beat too. Used to wake me up at night. Had it for ages, didn’t know everyone didn’t have it. I think it’s a fib. Anyway, I’m so happy you’re okay and that you got the treatment you needed. Anytime you have to go to the hospital is terrifying to me. Glad you’re doing well and hope you won’t have to do that ever again.

Mine never happened during the times I was sleeping. It was always in the daytime, and most times it would last a few seconds, or minutes. But this last time it was bad. So off to the hospital I went, and got the medication I needed for it.
