A Pondering Mind

A little of this. A little of that.

Today, May 14
makes it
one full
year, that
I quit
smoking,
and I don’t
miss it.

  2. Congratulations – I quit in 1987 – but dabbled on and off to stop 100% in 1991

      1. It seems like another lifetime ago – and to know me you would not even think it could have been part of my life – but what really helped me quit was they started adding more chemicals to cigarettes and it was making me very sick – I am glad for that – but I also realized it was a companion or supportive thing in my life and that helped me address the emotional connection – and then one more thing that helped was I would “fast” for the day (just for faith reasons) and later I see this helped so much –
So did you go cold Turkey?

        1. Yes, I did it cold turkey. Now, I can’t stand the smell of cigarette smoke…
