I don’t think it ever did exist, except for the 1%.
For some, it’s more like a nightmare.

For sure. God help you if you’re poor or an immigrant.
And that’s scary.
I think that applies to the ‘London dream’ in the UK, too, it’s elusive and doesn’t exist for less than 1% of people.
Its fiction, and will always be that way.
