A Pondering Mind

A hot and sticky night in the city. Nadia’s a/c doesn’t work, so she lay awake all night. She looked at the alarm clock, and saw it was 3:00 a.m., and suddenly she heard a woman screaming loudly, and she decided to look out the window, and saw a man beating an older woman. Nadia got on her cell phone, dialed 911, and told the police what was going on. A few minutes later a couple of cruisers arrived, and immediately called for an ambulance. A third cruiser happened to be nearby, and spotted a man from the description Nadia gave them. The police questioned the guy, who was three sheets to the wind, and saw his hands were marked from the beating he gave the woman. They cuffed him, read him his rights, and stuck his ass in the back seat of the police car, and took him for booking.
