“We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another, unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made of layers, cells, constellations.”

“We are mature in one realm, childish in another.” I’ve seen this in many people, including myself.

Who could ever argue with that. π Merry, merry, Donald. I hope you get lots of books for Christmas and just sit back and relax with hot cup of coffee, surrounded by warmth and good book. π

Thank you. As long as my cat is happy, I’m good. The kids are getting better, but not in time for getting together. We’ll just have a late holiday. Looking forward to a wonderful new year and lots of reading and a very long summer. LOL Have a lovely weekend.
