Oh my yes – plus that picture is of the Angel Oak on St. Johns Island outside Charleston, SC. Everett and I visited there this past spring. That tree is thought to be over a thousand years old and beyond just lovely. When you stand beneath her and put a hand on her trunk you feel like you’re in the presence of a sacred thing. To make it even better, there’s a small colony of WHITE squirrels living in and around the tree!
Not nearly enough traveling yet, but we’re full-time since January and making a good dent in our bucket list! Again, many thanks for your wonderful blog!
