Most definitely. That’s why the disappearance of independent bookstores is so tragic. All we have now are bestsellers and a small scattering of choices. You don’t know how to look up different kinds of books if you don’t know they exist. In independents you stumble over them on the shelves. It’s scary to have our choices taken away.
